Crazy Eights. And a Wedding Dress.

OK.

So here goes.

In 8 months I'll be getting married to the same boy I started dating when I was 15.

8 years.

Wooooow.

Only now, I have to hope that I fit into my wedding dress when it finally arrives from its manufacturer in Canada.

Surgery makes you gain weight. Ewww. At least I begged the nice ladies to order me the next size up because I would be getting my arm cut open and wouldn't be moving around much for 6 months.

Friday I go to see if I need surgery number 3. This would be on my ring and pinky of my left hand. If only I could beg the ring people to go up a size since the swelling doesn't go away for 8 months. I already had this surgery once. Its a fact.

I might be a ringless bride.....

But anyways.

Here's the dress. Let's all hope that come Thanksgiving when its supposed to arrive we can still get this girl into it.

The Skinny.

So now that I am old and wise and 23 I've decided to update my (not so) little wardrobe. I went all over the malls around Boston yesterday in hopes of finding some really amazing article of clothing to tie my wardrobe together with a trendy new fashion. Honestly I'm getting kind of sick of the whole preppy look that dominates my life.

So after many mental attempts of trying on skinny jeans, I entered the Gap and held my breath while I put a pair on. I held my breath because that was the only way they were ever going up over my knees.

I like the look of skinny jeans on some people.

I am not one of those people.

I have decided they don't look so good on girls with muscle.

They didn't look awfffful, but they didn't look right either. I think they are supposed to be skinny, but not SKIN TIGHT. I mean, even the calves were skin tight. I don't think that's right...

Maybe I should't have taken part in so many sports over the years, but I think I'll take muscular thighs and calves over skinny jeans any day.

I do really want a pair to wear with uggs and a baggy sweater come New England winter. But I'll have to get my courage up again first. And bring those articles with me when I try them on..... Juuuuust to make sure.

So I officially fail at blogging...

So it seem as though the only time I ever get around to writing is after I have surgery... Yep, that's right, surgery numero dos.

This time the good old elbow. Ulnar nerve to be exact.

Apparently something that I have in common with 55 year old men besides golf and the love of money is a good messed up nerve in the elbow. Hmph.

So now (while I recover for 4 months) I will take the time to plan my wedding and document the journey with all of you..

aren't you all wicked excited????????

It will be good I promise.

Tomorrow I'll show you all where its happening. Once I get some of my own pictures so I don't feel like I'm being an internet thief!
